Anesthesiologist Arbër Gj. is facing a complaint for allegedly violating professional ethics with a patient.

During a discussion, the doctor reportedly raised his voice and grabbed the patient’s hand under unclear circumstances, which are believed to have occurred during a debate regarding the operation, reports noa.al.

The situation escalated, and specialists from the Crime Investigation Unit of Police Station No. 4 arrived at the scene.

Subsequently, they forwarded the materials to the Prosecutor’s Office and initiated criminal proceedings against Arbër Gj., 44, a medical doctor.

“The criminal proceedings began after a woman filed a complaint stating that during her visit for a medical procedure at the hospital, she was not treated according to professional ethical standards,” the police officially stated.

Under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office, work is ongoing to clarify the circumstances and fully document the case legally.
