The General Inspectorate and inspectors from the National Food Authority in Korça conducted inspections at two food-related businesses in the city: a milk and dairy products processing facility, and a poultry meat processing plant.

The inspection process was closely monitored by a team from the General Inspectorate, with the aim of verifying the proper implementation of legal procedures, accurate documentation of every step, and the use of appropriate working equipment.

Additionally, the authorization of the inspections and the relevant accompanying documentation were also checked.

According to the official statement, these inspections were carried out in the framework of transparency and the enforcement of inspection laws, aiming to increase accountability and standardize on-site control processes.

The General Inspectorate emphasized that all findings and assessments will be included in a report on the performance of the inspection body, which aims to improve standards and strengthen public trust in the inspection process.
