A cooperation roundtable was held at the "Thimi Mitko" Library in Korça as part of the Zero City Lab program, an initiative aimed at bringing together local actors to develop sustainable solutions for waste management and the advancement of the circular economy.

The meeting was attended by representatives from local institutions, universities, businesses, and civil society, who discussed the challenges and opportunities for collaboration in key sectors such as agriculture, tourism, and the textile industry.

The Zero City Lab program seeks to promote more efficient use of natural resources, encourage recycling, and foster innovative ideas that contribute to the sustainable development of urban communities.

One of the key elements of the program is the upcoming launch of a grant call. Local businesses will have the opportunity to apply for financial support of up to €50,000 for projects that have a positive impact on the environment and the community.

The Municipality of Korça has expressed its full support for this initiative, emphasizing that any project contributing to sustainable development and economic growth through local innovation will have its backing.

This roundtable is considered an important step toward close cooperation between the public and private sectors, with the aim of building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for the city of Korça.
