Six years since the passing of Niko Faber, a respected figure in Albanian public life.
A simple and calm man, who moved among people quietly, often on foot or with his bicycle, which he almost never parted from. He was reserved in words but clear in his principles; a man for whom silence and speech carried equal weight, reflecting a rare balance of character.
In his public life, Niko Faber served as a member of the Albanian Parliament for two terms (1997–2001 and 2001–2005), representing the Korçë district. As a politician, he stood out for his maturity, civility, and dedication to duty, building a model of parliamentary conduct based on respect and communication with citizens.
On another level, he remained a devoted agricultural specialist, closely connected to the land and its people, viewing work as a service rather than a privilege. These three dimensions, the simple man, the thoughtful politician, and the dedicated specialist, make his figure complete and unforgettable.
His memory remains alive as an example of a life lived with dignity, simplicity, and dedication to society.
