A tragic incident occurred last night in Klos, Mati. 66-year-old Xhemal Zhuku, while attempting to cross the Mat River, was swept away by the strong current.
His lifeless body was found several kilometers downstream in the early hours of this morning. The search involved police services, family members, and local residents.
The investigative team is on-site and working to fully clarify the circumstances of this tragic event.
