787 applications for the Mountain Package in just 5 days – Great interest in the development of mountain areas

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared an important update on social media regarding the “Mountain Package” initiative, highlighting that in just 5 days since applications opened, a total of 787 applicants have registered from all over Albania and the diaspora.

Accompanied by a map showing the applications, Rama described it as an inspiring map that demonstrates the great interest in investing and revitalizing life in the country’s mountainous and hilly areas.

All emigrants in particular, but also those living in Albania who want to reopen the door to their ancestors’ homes in the mountains, are invited to apply. He emphasized that anyone wishing to open a guesthouse, agritourism business, mountain hotel, farm, or agro-processing line can do so with a permit, benefiting from government support and soft loan lines from the Bank of Albania.
