“Final warning” at Devolli: Win, or face the consequences…

The Devolli team today, at 11:00 AM, completed their final training session in preparation for the match against Shkumbini. After the training, the head of Devolli Club, Ermir Lukara, had a meeting with the players and staff, where it was revealed that he spoke to the players in very harsh tones, demanding them to achieve victory at all costs.

According to Lukara: “We are in a situation where reflection is needed from the players. It has been five weeks since we last won, and this is unacceptable. I have confidence, but everything is in the hands of the players. Meanwhile, I have informed you that a win is necessary, otherwise, we cannot allow this situation to continue. There will also be penalties, which could lead to departures if we do not achieve a positive result with three points.”

So far, we have not seen such a situation with a statement, even in the form of an ultimatum from the team’s director, Ermir Lukara, and thus the situation itself gives him the right. Devolli now has to fight hard for at least third place, and this position is also their objective for the moment.
