Even to this day, she continues to keep the Korçë serenade alive with her wonderful and unique voice, being one of the most representative figures of this beloved musical genre in the city of Korçë.

Her artistic journey began in the 1960s, at a very young age, eventually becoming the most renowned serenade singer of Korçë and the only woman to leave a deep mark on this traditional genre. The generation of that time knows and values Spanja, while unfortunately, today’s youth do not fully recognize her extraordinary contribution.

Like many children of that era, Spanja often spent time at her father’s workplace, where her love for singing began. Her unique voice caught the attention of Pavllo Sholla, who included her in the choir, where she even performed a Chinese song, marking her first serious steps in music.

After completing her eight-year education, alongside the work that was mandatory at the time, Spanja never stopped singing. She became part of the Soldier’s Stage and later the professional stage, which represents the peak of her artistic career.

Over the years, Spanja Pipa has proven to be a strong woman, with rare human and artistic values. She truly deserves the title given to her, Great Master of the Korçë Serenade, and stands as an inspiring example of how a young girl, with passion, work, and sacrifice, can leave an indelible mark on the cultural history of the city of Korçë.

May you live a century, our artist!
