A 23-year-old arrested in Korçë for stealing license plates from five vehicles

The Korçë Police Department has identified, apprehended, and arrested a 23-year-old suspected of stealing license plates from five different vehicles.

The operation was concluded following investigative actions and information obtained through operational channels, which led to the full clarification of the cases.

According to the police, the suspect is D.V., 23, a resident of Korçë, who was arrested for the criminal offense of “Theft,” committed multiple times. During a search of his residence, police found and confiscated the five stolen vehicle license plates, which were taken as material evidence.

Authorities stated that investigations are ongoing to fully document the suspect’s criminal activity and to verify his possible involvement in other similar cases.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korçë First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction for further legal action.
