Albania U-19 women finish third in Group A after thrilling match against Romania

In an extraordinary atmosphere at the Farkë sports hall, our red and black girls delivered a spectacular performance against Romania, fighting fiercely until the final point.
After trailing 0-1 in sets, Albania responded strongly and turned the match around to lead 2-1. The intense clash pushed the game into the deciding set, where Romania narrowly claimed victory with a score of 15-13.
In the first two group matches, Albania secured a major win over Bosnia (3-2) and then suffered a 3-1 loss to Serbia.
With these results, Albania finishes third in Group A and will face North Macedonia, who placed third in Group B, in the battle for fifth place in the tournament.
The match is scheduled for Sunday at 14:00 in the Farkë sports hall.
