Albanian Cup takes place on Wednesday/ Here’s where Skënderbeu, Maliqi, Devolli and the other Wednesday fixtures will play

The Albanian Cup for the 2025–2026 edition will officially kick off on October 15, with the first round, which is expected to bring exciting matchups between teams from the Superiore, First, and Second Divisions.

After the preliminary round, where Basania and Këlcyra qualified, everything is now set for the first official round of the Cup, which will be played as a single-elimination match. This stage will serve as a test for many teams, and surprises are expected, as often happens in this competition.

Once again this edition, the Cup format aims to create a balance between elite teams and those from lower divisions, giving even modest clubs the chance to make history in this traditional tournament.

The early round matches are played in a single-leg format. Eight Superiore teams will enter the Cup only in January, after the first two rounds have been completed.
