During a meeting with the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Edi Rama said that any intervention by MPs via phone would be considered a criminal offense.

He added that he would propose such a law and ask everyone to vote in favor of it.

“I will propose that any intervention by a deputy via phone to get someone a job be considered a criminal offense.

And I will propose this, look all of you in the eye, and ask you to vote for it.

Every message saying, ‘Get this a job,’ or ‘Take a look at that person,’ will be considered a criminal offense,” Rama said.
