The first days of autumn have marked a significant increase in viral infections, mainly among children and the elderly. Doctors emphasize that the situation is not alarming, but they recommend extra care and medical check-ups if symptoms persist for several consecutive days.

Health centers across the country have reported a notable rise in viral cases, affecting mostly children and older adults.

Doctor Fabiola Gjonaj, from Health Center No. 10 in Tirana, explained that viral and gastrointestinal infections are dominating, presenting with symptoms such as fever, cough, vomiting, and diarrhea.

In an interview with Ora News, she stressed that although this is not considered an alarming situation, the vulnerability of these groups makes extra care necessary.

According to doctors, this period is riskier for the body due to temperature changes and weakened immunity. Therefore, vigilance and timely treatment are advised to avoid complications that may arise from delayed care.
