Bitcoin reaches a new all-time high, surpassing $109,000

The price of Bitcoin surpassed $109,000 today, reaching its highest level ever. Over the past 24 hours, the price of the largest cryptocurrency fluctuated between $99,400 and $109,110.

It is worth noting that Bitcoin’s price was at $70,000 before the U.S. elections in November 2024, while its value has increased by about 55% since Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential elections.

Following this victory, the market anticipates positive developments for cryptocurrencies, as he pledged that the U.S. would become the “crypto capital” of the planet.

The market capitalization of Bitcoin has recently stood at $2.14 trillion, according to Coinmarketcap figures, with a 24-hour trading volume of $111.5 billion.
