Intensive checks by Border Police services aim to prevent illegal movement across the border.

Four individuals attempting to cross the border illegally at Kapshticë and Qafë Thanë have been criminally prosecuted.

As part of the ongoing efforts of the Korçë Local Directorate of Border and Migration to prevent illegal border crossings, the Green Border units of SPK Qafë Thanë and Kapshticë apprehended four individuals attempting to cross the border unlawfully:

D. H., 47, resident of Librazhd

M. R., 31, resident of Vashë village, Peqin

R. K., 20, resident of Trestenik village, Devoll

F. Sh., 48, resident of Trestenik village, Devoll

Following procedural actions, the case materials for each individual were referred to the Prosecution Office, and criminal proceedings were initiated against them in a state of release for the offense of “Illegal Crossing of the State Border.”

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Korçë Prosecution Office for further action.
