Local Police Directorate of Korçë reported several incidents across the region:

Road Traffic Accident in Korçë: Prosecutors have opened a criminal case against R. I., 31, from Vlorë, after his vehicle collided with two others in neighborhood 18, Korçë, one of which was parked. A 17-year-old passenger in R. I.’s car was injured but is hospitalized in stable condition.

Damage at Hemodialysis Center, Pojan: K. M., 67, from Pojan, is under criminal investigation for allegedly damaging a medical device tube at the Hemodialysis Center near Korçë Hospital for minor motives.

Illegal Firewood Transport in Maliq: B. L., 60, from Pirg, was penalized for transporting firewood without authorization using a tractor he operated without a license. Both the tractor and wood were seized as evidence.

Animal Negligence in Pogradec: K. Ç., 39, from Pogradec, is under investigation for “abandonment of a companion animal” after his dog reportedly escaped his property in neighborhood 5 and injured an 11-year-old girl, who received medical treatment and returned home.

Attempted Jewelry Store Theft in Pogradec: On March 20, 2026, in the early morning, unidentified individuals attempted to rob the jewelry store of L. A., 69, in neighborhood 5, Pogradec, but were unsuccessful. Authorities are working to identify and apprehend the suspects.

All procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office of Korçë for further action.
