BREAKING NEWS / Greece: Strong earthquake with magnitude 5 hits Zakynthos

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 struck near the coast of Zakynthos, in western Peloponnese, at 19:24 local time on Friday.

According to the Geodynamic Institute, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5 on the Richter scale.

The epicenter was located 60 kilometers southwest of Strofades, with a focal depth of 10.8 kilometers.

So far, no casualties have been reported.
