Changes to the education law, another reform expected. Minister Kumbaro: The law will be adapted to the labor market

The Socialist majority’s project “Albania 2030” also calls for revisions to the higher education law, for which work has already begun.

The new law being discussed envisions not only a European spirit in education, but above all alignment with the labor market and a reduction in the number of educational institutions.

“Albania 2030” also aims to attract foreign students to study at Albanian universities, which is a key focus of the legal changes.

Speaking at the conference “Towards a Global Higher Education Market: Changes in the Law,” organized by the “Gjon Durrahium” League of Universities, Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro said that three working groups have been established to review the current draft law, which was approved in 2015.
