Details from the brawl in Korçë: The perpetrators and the injured are being questioned

New details have emerged regarding yesterday’s brawl in Korçë, where three people were injured.

Korçë police have seized all video footage from the bar where the mass fight broke out, ending in stabbings. It is learned that the clash involved two groups who first exchanged verbal insults, before the situation escalated to throwing chairs at each other and using baseball bats.

According to reports, Ilir Shukulli, Dritan Pine, and Gersi Dervishi are suspected of using knives during the altercation, injuring three individuals.

This morning, police began questioning both the injured and those detained, as most of the arrested participants in the mass fight were intoxicated.

The three detainees Ilir Shukulli, 54, Dritan Pine, 52, and Gersi Dervishi, 37 reportedly told police during last night’s statements that they do not remember the reason for the conflict.

The three injured men, aged 31, 34, and 35, sustained wounds to the abdomen, eye, and chest, but are all out of life-threatening danger.

Following the incident, police escorted several individuals to the police station as suspects, witnesses, or people with knowledge of the events.

So far, three people have been officially detained as suspected perpetrators, while five others who were with the groups involved will also be questioned.

The Korçë Prosecutor’s Office has issued nine arrest warrants, including for some of the injured.
