Successive operations for the identification and arrest of citizens who steal property from people.

Finalized by Police Station No. 6, as a result of a several-month investigation, the operation codenamed “Copy”.

He monitored the apartments he intended to rob and entered them using copied keys, taking money, jewelry, and other items. A 38-year-old man was identified and arrested.

The investigation uncovered 4 thefts carried out with the same method by the 38-year-old (with a strong prior criminal record for theft) during this year.

Suspected stolen items were seized, as well as clothing used during the commission of the crimes.

As a result of a several-month investigation carried out by the services of Police Station No. 6, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana, aimed at identifying and apprehending the author of several apartment thefts using copied keys, the operation codenamed “Copy” was finalized.

During the operation, the suspect, identified as B. H., 38 years old, was arrested and taken into custody. He is suspected of carrying out 4 apartment thefts using this method during 2026.

Work continues to uncover other thefts that the suspect may have committed.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
