Other details have been made public regarding the serious incident yesterday, where a 59-year-old man from Devoll lost his life right after leaving a dental clinic.

Sources from the investigation indicate that the 59-year-old had gone to the dental clinic together with his two sons, a cousin, and a close female relative. After the dental treatment, during which he received a filling, he complained several times about his condition, saying, “I don’t feel well.”

According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the cause of death was a heart attack. Meanwhile, the investigative team has seized the patient’s medical record, which contains all the procedures carried out during the treatment at the clinic.

So far, no elements have been found linking the incident to any mistake on the part of the dentist, but only after the forensic report is completed will the exact cause of death be definitively determined.

In relation to the case, the 36-year-old dentist has been questioned, explaining to the Devoll police the procedure he followed in treating the 59-year-old who passed away.
