Ernest Gjoka after Peshkopia: “We needed more calm”

“In life and in football, nothing is certain.” These are the words of Skënderbeu coach Ernest Gjoka after the match in Peshkopi, where the Korça team was held to a draw.

According to Gjoka, the result was influenced by several factors, including the condition of the pitch, but he emphasized that his team needed to show more calm in the decisive moments of the game:

“There are several factors that affect the outcome, and the pitch is not excluded, but we should have been calmer and made better use of the chances we created. In the final moments of the match, we really had plenty of them,” the coach said.

Gjoka seems clear about the path to the main objective, returning to the Superliga, stressing that the key to success remains winning. “I can say that we just need to win every match. This is the path that leads us to success,” he concluded.
