Ervin Salianji: “I am proud of Grida, marriage is not necessary”

Former Democratic MP Ervin Salianji has once again spoken about his relationship with the TV host and former party colleague, Grida Duma.

In an interview with Top Albania Radio, Salianji was asked how proud he is of Duma, to which he replied without hesitation: “I am very proud. She is a fortune and part of my worldview.”

Regarding marriage, Salianji said it is not necessary for two people to be married in order to be together.

“I think everything depends on how it comes and where it comes. I believe a person should not only be free but also choose their own path. Marriage alone is not enough for two people to be together. As for living together, I don’t think there is any difference,” Salianji stated.

He also expressed his belief in love. “I am a believer. I believe in God and I believe that love exists; it’s not just in books. I don’t see it as something contractual. For me, chemistry and feeling are what matter,” he added.
