“Exclude me” / The post that turned the tables on Edi Rama

It is a move that puts Edi Rama in a difficult position.

Until yesterday, Spiropali was on the defensive: she was critical, but without taking it all the way.

Today, with a single phrase — “exclude me” — she has forced Rama to make a decision.

And this is where the real game begins.

Because Rama now has only two options:

To exclude her and appear as someone who does not accept any differing opinion.

Or not to exclude her and appear as if he backed down in front of her.

So, for the first time, it is no longer Spiropali who is reacting.

It is Rama who is forced to respond.

And this is a major shift.

Because Spiropali did something smart:

She did not turn the conflict personal.

She did not say “I am against Rama.”

She said: the problem is the way the system functions.

So she shifted the debate from a clash between two individuals into a discussion about how governance works.

That is much stronger.

But also more risky.

Because if it stops here, everything can be quickly forgotten.

If it continues on the same line, then it is no longer just a debate.

It becomes the beginning of a political project.

The reality is that in Albanian politics you usually have only two choices: obey, or confront and leave.

Spiropali is attempting a third path: not to obey, but also not to leave.

To stay inside and challenge how the system works.

This is the hardest game.

Because speaking is not enough.

You also have to know how to continue the battle.
