The season has ended for KF Skënderbeu, but in the Korçë club there seems to be no time for rest. While the players have returned to their families after the end of the championship, the management has immediately started moves to build the squad for the new season, a season in which the objectives are expected to be much more ambitious.
In the club offices, intensive work is being carried out by president Ardian Takaj and technical director Ardi Gjançi, who have begun identifying the players who will be part of the upcoming project.
Meanwhile, it is learned that the first important move has already been made. Sources close to the club report that goalkeeper Marko Alia has signed to continue his cooperation with Skënderbeu for the next two seasons.
The Korçë side has moved quickly to secure their goalkeeper, who showed confidence and stability between the posts this season, becoming one of the team’s most important players.
Although he was affected by an injury in recent weeks, his performances during the championship have convinced the management that he should be part of the new project.
Alia’s renewal is seen as a clear signal that Skënderbeu aims to build its squad by keeping the core of its key players. The club believes the goalkeeper will remain one of the team’s strongest points next season, where further transfers are expected.
After the first signing, attention now turns to other names who may join or leave the squad, while Skënderbeu’s summer transfer window has clearly just begun.
