First Division takes a break / Here’s when Matchday 29 returns and the fixtures

After the conclusion of Matchday 28, due to national team fixtures, the First Division will also go on a break and is expected to return at the beginning of April.


According to the schedule, Matchday 29 games will resume on April 4, while the Football Federation is expected to officially confirm the kick-off times, which are currently set at 15:00.


With the time change next weekend, matches are expected to be pushed one hour later. It is already confirmed that all matches will be played on the same day and at the same time.


Matchday 29 brings home fixtures for the top three teams, as Skënderbeu, Laçi, and Pogradeci will all play on their own grounds. Skënderbeu will host Iliria, Laçi will face Burreli, and Pogradeci will take on Kastrioti.


On paper, all three matches are expected to be won by the home teams, and with five rounds remaining, attention is likely to focus on when the top teams face each other.
