From Dibra to Korça, DP: We will appeal the election results in all districts

The legal representative of the Democratic Party, Franc Nuri, stated that the DP will appeal the results of the May 11 elections in all districts.

He emphasized that the DP has collected substantial evidence from its structures, branches, and candidates, which has been documented during the campaign, on election day, and even after the elections concluded. All of this will be presented and used in their appeals.

"Yes, absolutely, I confirm that we will appeal all districts. This is a political decision made by the DP to challenge all results, including those that came out in our favor, considering the entire electoral farce. We started with Kukës, not by chance, as it was the decision of Mr. Celibashi—the first decision to certify the result in Kukës.

If we didn’t appeal Kukës, we would have missed the deadline. Tomorrow we will start with the Berat district, then Korça, Dibra, and so on, depending on when Celibashi approves the respective results for each district. Elbasan, Durrës, and Tirana will be the last districts we appeal, as their results were certified yesterday,” Nuri told Euronews Albania.
