From Irvin Bode:
Fine! I want it in red!
Today, instead of listening to the concerns of small traders at the “Macedonian Market”, the Municipality chose to fine them.
People who can barely keep their businesses open, who pay taxes, rent, insurance, and face every day the decline in purchasing power, were treated today as an aesthetic problem rather than as citizens who support their families through honest work.
As if Korçë becomes more beautiful by targeting the weakest!?
Neither the facades nor the standardized awnings can hide the arrogance of a government that bases its governance on pressure, threats, and fines.
Aesthetics are not built by putting pressure on small traders, but through support, consultation, and human dignity.
As for aesthetics; for that tower that looks like a “sleeve in the middle of the back,” how much of a fine does it deserve?
“KORÇA BOOM”
