Dinamo and Skënderbeu are playing the first quarter-final match of the Albanian Cup in Elbasan, with Skënderbeu starting the match with several changes on the field, giving minutes to the young players who arrived just a few days ago during this winter transfer window.

Skënderbeu had the first chance in the 2nd minute with Bismark, who narrowly missed scoring, while Zabërgja responded in kind, but it was team captain Prençi who blocked it.

The following minutes were calm with no chances, until the 16th minute, when Luquinhas delivered a great ball into the box, but none of the attackers could push it into the goal.

Dejvi Bregu took a free kick for Dinamo in the 26th minute, which was brilliantly saved by Marko Alia with a punch over the crossbar, preventing a certain goal for Dinamo.

The next minutes were quiet, and both teams played far from the 16-meter box.

By the end of the first half, Skënderbeu created several good moments, even winning a corner, but couldn’t hit the target. The first 45 minutes ended 0-0.

The second half began with a substitution for Skënderbeu, as Rashica came on the field.

Just a few minutes after the start of the second half, Skënderbeu shocked Dinamo. Bismark received an accurate pass at the edge of the box, shot with his left foot, and scored the opening goal for Skënderbeu.

Before they could even celebrate the first goal, Skënderbeu scored again. An action down the left wing, the ball was crossed into the box for Rashica, but Loran, in his attempt to clear the ball, accidentally sent it into his own net, making it 0-2 for Skënderbeu.

First-half minutes and chances:

  • 2′ – Bismark sets off an alarm early in the game, facing the goal but misses the target with a clear scoring opportunity.

  • 4′ – Zabërgja gets close to scoring, but Prençi blocks everything and saves the goal for Dinamo.

  • 16′ – Luquinhas drops a beautiful ball into the box, but Hoxha for Dinamo clears the danger.

  • 26′ – A free kick for Dinamo. Dejvi Bregu shoots, but Marko Alia performs a miracle by punching the ball out for a corner.

Second-half minutes and chances:

  • 50’ – Bismark receives a precise pass at the edge of the penalty area, shoots with his left foot, and puts Skënderbeu in the lead. 0-1 for Skënderbeu.

  • 56’ – Skënderbeu scores the second. Loran for Dinamo, after a cross into the box for Rashica, clears the ball wrongly, sending it into his own net. 0-2 for Skënderbeu.
