Happy Birthday, Dr. Ida Ekonomi!

Dr. Thomaida Ekonomi was born in Korçë. She completed her general secondary education in 1985 and graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1990 as a general physician.

She began her career as a family doctor in Cangonj (Devoll), later working as a general practitioner at the foreign languages school “Faik Konica” in Korçë. Since 1999, she has served with dedication as a family physician in health centers across Korçë.

Known for her professionalism and expertise, Dr. Thomaida Ekonomi has attended numerous trainings and conferences in family medicine, tuberculosis management, maternal and child healthcare, family planning, reproductive health, and continuous professional development.

She has also contributed as a trainer in programs organized by the Ministry of Health, the Department of Family Medicine, and international organizations.
