Happy Birthday, Dr. Vlefta!

Today, on the birthday of Dr. Vlefta Bejko, we celebrate a career built on professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to medicine.

Born in Korçë, she began her journey as a general practitioner before specializing in gastro-hepatology and endoscopy. Her professional training continued in Albania and the United Kingdom, while her participation in European medical conferences kept her connected with the latest developments in her field.

Beyond her medical practice, Dr. Vlefta has contributed to the training of young doctors as a trainer at the Family Medicine Training Center in Korçë. She has also represented the medical profession, serving as President of the Order of Physicians, Korçë Branch.

A career in which medicine, science, and professional responsibility have come together for more than four decades.
