Happy birthday, Tereza Kreshova!

On April 3, 1949, Tereza Kreshova was born in Korçë. Her passion for singing emerged in childhood, when her talent was discovered by her music teacher Niko Ilo. During this time, she became active at the Pioneer House and took part in various artistic activities throughout her school years, continuing later in high school.

During these years, she performed on the stage of the Andon Z. Çajupi Theatre and later pursued studies at the Higher Institute of Arts in the field of vocal performance. She was a singer with the Skënderbeu Ensemble and also contributed to the artistic education of young people as a canto teacher at the Tefta T. Koço Artistic High School in Korçë.

One of the key moments of her career came on September 18, 1996, when she performed Panis Angelicus at the Mitropolis Church, accompanied by the Orchestra of the Palace of Culture under the direction of Kostika Tanto.
