Happy birthday to the volleyball icon Jani Melka!

Today is one of the most special days for one of the icons of volleyball in Korça and Albania.

Jani Melka celebrates his 62nd birthday today, and this great name in volleyball truly deserves the warmest wishes on this special occasion.

Jani Melka is the only Albanian in volleyball history to have played in a European Champions Cup final. For all his achievements as a player and coach, Melka remains a true volleyball icon.

He is a figure who brought artistry and creativity to Albanian volleyball. From his successes with Skënderbeu and the national team, to making history in Greece with Aris, Iraklis, and PAOK, Jani remains a perfect example of an exceptional setter and a pride of Korça.

For several years, Jani Melka has also served as head coach of the senior national volleyball team, where he has developed talented athletes who now play for clubs across Europe.
