He invited him to be a founding member of the Peace Board for Gaza, Rama shares Trump’s letter

The Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama, this Sunday published on his Facebook social network the official letter that the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, sent to him, inviting Albania to participate as a founding member state of the Peace Board for Gaza.

In the accompanying note, Rama emphasizes that he will do everything to elevate the name of Albania and the dignity of Albanians.

Trump, thanking you for the privilege of the trust you have placed in me, and assuring you that I will do everything to the very end to elevate the name of Albania and the dignity of Albanians, I wish you a peaceful Sunday.

It is a great honor for me to invite you, as Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, to join me in a Historic and Grand effort to strengthen Peace in the Middle East and, at the same time, to undertake a bold new approach to resolving the Global Conflict!

On September 29, 2025, I announced the Comprehensive Plan to end the conflict in Gaza, a 20-point action plan immediately supported by all World Leaders, including key leaders in the Arab World, Israel, and Europe. Following this Plan, on November 17, the United Nations Security Council overwhelmingly adopted Resolution 2803, welcoming and supporting this plan.

Now is the time to turn all Dreams into reality. The Peace Board is at the heart of this Plan and it is the most impressive and influential Board ever created, which will be established as a New International Organization and Transitional Governing Administration.

Our achievement brings together a group of distinguished nations that are ready to shoulder the noble responsibility of building PERMANENT PEACE, an Honor reserved for those who are prepared to lead by example and to commit skillfully to a safe and prosperous future for generations to come. In the near future, we will gather our wonderful and dedicated partners, most of whom are highly respected World Leaders.

As Chairman of the Board, I formally invite the Republic of Albania, represented by you, to join us as a Founding Member State and to become a party to the Statute of the Peace Board. This Board will be so special that nothing like it has ever existed before! Each Member State may appoint an authorized representative on its behalf to participate in and contribute to meetings. Attached you will find the Comprehensive Plan and the Statute of the Board, which is now available for your signature and ratification.
