Here's where Skënderbeu will play when construction for the new stadium begins...

Although there isn't an official date for when construction will begin on the new stadium in Korçë, it's been informally learned that it will start after the end of this sports season. Construction takes time, so the Skënderbeu team needs to consider where they will play. There are several alternatives, including Pogradec, but officials prefer not to move far from Korçë. 

Thus, the possibility arises that matches will be held at the field near the Children's Village, where the team currently trains, but certain conditions need to be met. First and foremost, there must be over 1200 seats for seated spectators, while currently, the stands have around 700 seats. A solution has been proposed, with the possibility of adding temporary seating. 

So, it seems that sports fans won't have to travel far to support their team. However, this is all for the new season, as this season's matches will still be held in the existing stadium.
