High school student expelled for sharing the Albanian language and literature exam paper on social media

A student in Kukës has been excluded from the Albanian Language and Literature exam after being caught photographing the test paper during the exam.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has assured that the Albanian Language and Literature exam, as part of the State Matura 2026, is being conducted normally, under conditions of security and full transparency across the country.

According to the Ministry, the second Matura exam is being held in 144 exam centers and involves more than 26,600 students, while all procedures are being implemented in full compliance with the State Matura Regulations.

Regarding the publication of exam paper photos on social media, the Ministry clarified that this act occurred after the exam had already started and, according to them, does not affect the integrity of the process. It was also reported that the case was identified in an exam center in the Kukës region, where the responsible student was immediately excluded from the test.
