Icon Lida Shehi reacts to nostalgic photo of the champions

Yesterday, “Korça BOOM” shared a sports story about the women's basketball team that won the championship title 25 years ago. There were many comments from sports fans, but what drew the most attention was the reaction of Korçë basketball icon, Lida Shehi.

In her comment, Shehi wrote: “So much longing, such a beautiful memory! Wonderful girls, respect and longing for all of you.”

Lida Shehi is one of the players with the most appearances in the Skënderbeu team. She wore the team jersey since she was 16 years old, contributing extraordinarily and being recognized as one of the best Albanian basketball players.

Today, she lives far away with her family, but this old photo sparked a deep feeling of nostalgia in her. Above all, this sports icon deserves the respect of everyone.
