In the multimedia hall of “Themistokli Gërmenji” high school, the first meeting of the project on Italian language and culture was held

Yesterday, in the multimedia hall of “Themistokli Gërmenji” High School, the first meeting of the project on Italian language and culture took place: *“Italophony: Language and Culture – The Word of Fashion.”*

This initiative is a collaboration with the Ceconi Institute of Udine, Italy, made possible thanks to the dedication of the coordinator of the Albanian-Italian bilingual section, Professor Maria Rosaria Mormone, and the cooperation of the Albanian teacher of Italian language and literature, Milda Papa.

During the meeting, following the film presentations of the schools and the welcoming remarks from the respective leaders, Albanian and Italian students introduced themselves and built bridges of communication between them, thus paving the way for a possible twinning partnership.

Far apart yet very close, different yet similar, eager to learn the students will continue implementing the project in the upcoming meetings.

The second meeting is scheduled for October 15, 2025.
