Informative and awareness-raising meetings held at Mborje and Pogradec schools!

Korçë / Informative and awareness-raising meetings continue in schools.

In implementation of the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Education and Sports, under the program "Youth Safety," the Police services continued awareness sessions with students of 9-year and secondary schools in the Korçë district.

The most recent meetings were held by the assistant specialists of the Korçë Police Directorate for school education, in collaboration with the staff of the 9-year school "Haki Mborja" in the village of Mborje, Korçë, and the private school "Nehemia" in Pogradec, with the presence of the schools’ psychologists.

During the sessions, students in the 6th grade discussed topics such as:

Violence in general;

Bullying and its forms;

Causes and consequences of bullying;

Student safety on the internet;

Negative effects of tobacco, alcohol, and narcotic substances on the human body.

Police officers prepared illustrative materials for the students and distributed leaflets containing information and curiosities related to safety.

The presentations were accompanied by videos and photos in PowerPoint, giving students the opportunity to see firsthand the consequences of violence, bullying, misuse of the internet, and harmful substances.
