FULL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Devoll / Details revealed about the conflict that took place yesterday in Bilisht.

After physically confronting two individuals and stabbing one of them over trivial motives, a 39-year-old man has been arrested in flagrante delicto.

A 37-year-old man has also been arrested, as after the conflict he transported in his vehicle the two individuals involved in the altercation, who then assaulted the 39-year-old again and damaged his car. Two other individuals involved in the incident are being prosecuted.

The knife suspected to have been used in the stabbing and two vehicles were seized.

Upon receiving yesterday’s report of a conflict in Bilisht, the Devoll Police Station immediately organized efforts to prevent the escalation of the situation and identify those involved.

The four individuals suspected of involvement were taken to the Police Station, and following investigative procedures, Crime Investigation Specialists arrested in flagrante delicto:

G. M., 39 years old, resident of Bilisht, for the criminal offenses of “Intentional minor injury,” “Illegal manufacturing and possession of cold weapons,” “Disturbance of public order and peace,” and “Property damage”;

Y. Xh., 37 years old, resident of Bilisht, for the criminal offense of “Irregular driving.”

In addition, materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office, initiating proceedings in a state of liberty for the criminal offenses of “Property damage” and “Other intentional harm,” against:

M. B., 37 years old, with prior criminal record, and

T. Ç., 38 years old, both residents of Bilisht.

Investigations suggest that yesterday, at around 11:00 a.m., G. M. was involved in a street altercation over minor motives with T. Ç. and M. B., during which he stabbed T. Ç., 38 years old, in the leg and then fled in his vehicle.

Later, Y. Xh., together with T. Ç. and M. B., pursued the 39-year-old’s vehicle and, in the town center, T. Ç. and M. B. physically assaulted him and damaged his car with hard objects. Checks confirmed that Y. Xh. was driving without a license.

The procedural materials have been forwarded to the Korça Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
