A 19-year-old has been arrested after accidentally shooting and injuring his 17-year-old friend with a firearm.
The incident occurred around 01:40 on “Berit Beker” street, inside the young man’s home.
According to preliminary investigations, he believed the pistol was unloaded and accidentally fired it, injuring his friend.
After being notified, police went to the scene and launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
In addition to the 19-year-old, two other individuals, friends of theirs, were also arrested on suspicion of obstructing the investigation. The firearm, which was allegedly being possessed without a permit, was also seized.
The injured teenager is currently in hospital under medical care.
Investigations are ongoing to fully document the case and determine the responsibilities of each person involved.
