The first match of the year between Teuta and Skënderbeu has just concluded in Durrës, with Skënderbeu’s volleyball team securing a clean 3-0 victory in this Albanian Cup fixture.

Orlando Koja’s team wrapped it up in three sets, excelling in every aspect of the game and marching to the top of Group A with maximum points.

The match began at 16:00, with Skënderbeu taking an early 0-3 lead in the first set. Teuta briefly equalized at 6-6 and later at 8-8, but Skënderbeu pulled ahead again, with scores of 10-12 and 11-15, maintaining the lead through 15-19, 19-22, and closing the set at 21-25.

The second set began with tied points at 1-1, and Teuta took a brief lead at 6-5 and 7-6. However, Skënderbeu regained control, taking leads of 8-10, 11-14, and 16-19. The girls in red-and-white held firm in the final moments and closed the set at 21-25.

The third set was the easiest for Skënderbeu, who dominated from the start, refusing to concede a single set. They ended with a decisive 14-25, securing a convincing 0-3 win overall.

With this victory in Durrës against Teuta, Skënderbeu’s women’s volleyball team rises to 15 points, firmly at the top of Group A in the Albanian Cup competition.
