Laçi–Skënderbeu, tomorrow’s headline clash / Fierce battles in Round 16!

Five matches will be played on Saturday, all kicking off at the same time, 13:30. The headline fixture of the round is the clash between second-placed Laçi and league leaders Skënderbeu. It is expected to be a highly competitive encounter, especially considering that in the first phase Skënderbeu defeated Laçi 1–0 in Korçë.

The gap between the two teams stands at seven points, with Skënderbeu in a more comfortable position, also having one game in hand. However, Laçi desperately need all three points as they feel the pressure from Pogradeci, who sit in third place. Even so, Skënderbeu travel to Kurbini aiming to take points, and even a draw would be considered a positive result for the league leaders.

Also on Saturday, Pogradeci will host Kukësi, with the lakeside team seen as the favourites on paper. Iliria will welcome Luftëtari, Burreli face Kastrioti, while the final Saturday fixture will be between Apolonia and Korabi.

On Sunday, December 14, the only match scheduled is the encounter between Lushnja and Besa, which will also kick off at 13:30.
