Italian police have arrested three individuals in connection with the brutal murder of a 62-year-old Turkish man in the province of Milan. The shocking incident occurred on July 23, when the victim, Hayati Aroyo, was stabbed 30 times before his body was set on fire by the perpetrators.
According to Monza Today, among those arrested is a 38-year-old Albanian citizen. All three perpetrators were identified and detained following intensive investigations by Italian police.
The victim, Hayati Aroyo, is reportedly the brother-in-law of a Turkish mafia member who was executed in January of this year, raising suspicions of revenge or settling of scores between criminal groups.
Investigations to fully clarify the incident are ongoing, and Italian authorities do not rule out connections with international criminal networks.
