Maliqi starts preparations for the new season: Egli Malësia confirmed as coach

After a stable last season, in which the Maliqi team finished mid-table with a respectable performance, the club has begun preparations for the new football season. Work has started from the technical direction, and continuity seems to have been chosen as the strategy for the sustainability of the sporting project.

Sources close to the club reveal that coach Egli Malësia will continue leading the team for the upcoming season as well. With considerable experience in Albanian football, Malësia has coached not only the Maliqi team but also other squads in the First and Second Categories, earning respect and appreciation for his work.

The decision to continue with the same coach appears to have been made in close cooperation with the mayor of Maliqi, Mr. Gëzim Topçiu, who has guaranteed his full support for the team. The good performance of the team under Malësia’s leadership and his clear work philosophy have earned the trust of local authorities.

In the coming days, the first phase of preparations is expected to begin, where transfers in and out of the squad will be announced, as well as the objectives Maliqi will have for the upcoming season.
