Man accused of domestic violence against his wife: what happened

A.S., 56 years old, resident of Korçë, has been processed by the police after being suspected of exercising physical and psychological violence against his wife. The incident occurred at the couple’s home, where following a sudden conflict, the man is believed to have reacted violently towards his wife.

After the victim reported the case, authorities intervened immediately and started investigations. The wife has been granted a protection order, while legal procedures against A.S. are ongoing.

The police announce that such cases will be treated with maximum seriousness and urge citizens to report any form of domestic violence via the emergency number 112 or the “Digital Police Station” app.
