Ministry of Education asks parents to submit declarations for the subsidization of school textbooks

The Ministry of Education and Science (MASH) has asked Municipal Education Directorates and schools to organize the distribution and collection of parents’ declarations for students in grades 1–9 who benefit from subsidies for school textbooks and materials for the 2026–2027 academic year.

According to MES, the declarations must be completed, signed, and submitted by October 1, 2026.

Through the declaration, parents confirm that the subsidy funds have been used to purchase textbooks and that the student has them available. They also accept the possibility of verification by the competent institutions.

Parents undertake to return textbooks intended for reuse to the school at the end of the academic year, in suitable condition.

MES has called for cooperation among the Municipal Education Directorates, schools, and parents so that the process can be completed within the specified deadline.
