The well-known Albanian pop singer Shpat Kasapi has passed away at the age of 40, as a result of a heart attack, according to preliminary information.


Born on May 1, 1985, in Tetovo, he grew up in a family with a musical tradition and quickly became one of the most beloved names on the Albanian music scene. His career began in the early 2000s, when he became a youth idol with his modern style, light rhythms, and energetic performances.


Through the Albanian and Kosovar music market, Shpat brought songs that became hits of their time, such as “A më do?”, “Valle Kosovare,” “Dashni pa limit,” “Aroma e saj,” and many others, leaving an indelible mark on Albanian music.


Shpat Kasapi had been married and was going through a divorce process recently. He leaves behind one child.


In the Albanian music scene, he will be remembered for his voice, his energy, and the impact he had on the public.
