In an interview with Top News, Monika Kryemadhi spoke publicly for the first time since her separation from her ex-husband, Ilir Meta, offering an honest look into her personal life and her relationship with her children. She emphasized that the chapter of living together with Meta is definitively closed, and that her current focus is on her children and their well-being.

When asked what she thinks Ilir Meta might be feeling while watching the interview, Kryemadhi said it is not a concern for her, as she is fully focused on her role as a mother and caring for her family. According to her, this is a time for peace and for spending quality moments with her children, ensuring they have a healthy emotional environment.

“I have very good memories and very bad ones. My relationship with Meta is over. We have three children, we will celebrate their milestones, lend each other a hand, have a coffee together, but my life with him has ended. My only concern is that the children are not upset or distressed. They see their father, I ask them how it went. We are in a legal process, and he needs to be clear-headed and healthy. Era is more emotional and family-oriented, my son is more relaxed, doesn’t resist much they complement each other. I have a single goal: to undo all the negativity that has been spread about me through Ilir Meta’s words. Sometimes he is cold, sometimes warm, sometimes agitated. This weighs on the children.

Their care is handled by his mother and sister. With Ilir’s sisters, we have communicated to manage the children better. With his mother, after her surgery, I haven’t had contact. With his brother’s wife, yes, we have a good relationship,” she said.

Kryemadhi also spoke about her children’s lives, mentioning her son Besari, saying he has a girlfriend and that she is not at all a jealous mother.

“Besari has a girlfriend; she is a good girl. When she is at our home, we see even more of Besari. I have always said, whoever loves my children, I love them too,” she added.
