A 19-year-old has been arrested by police in Shkodër after being caught with a stolen car and thousands of euros in counterfeit money in his home.
According to the police, as part of the operation “Livadhet 3”, citizen Ornaldo Çerenishta, 19 years old, a resident of Shkodër, was placed under arrest.
During a search carried out at the 19-year-old’s residence, police services found and seized, as material evidence:
164,300 euros suspected to be counterfeit, combat ammunition, 8 mobile phones, a quantity of fuel, 1 vehicle suspected to have been stolen in the city of Fushë-Krujë in 2019, as well as 2 license plates suspected to have been stolen in Tirana during 2025.
The young man is accused of the criminal offenses of “Theft” and “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons, and ammunition.”
The procedural materials have been referred to the Shkodër Prosecutor’s Office for further legal action.
